We are proud to release our de-stroker kit for the N55/S55 engines!
After extensive testing with our N55r26 9,000 rpm development engine we decided to make these parts available to engine builders. Here are some specs below on our rotating assembly kit!
Crank hub•
This is the first crankshaft design in the world for the N5/S5X to feature an integrated crank hub. No more crank hub locking bolt, pins to drill, and the hub will always stay at 0 runout on the crankshaft.
Crankshaft•
This crankshaft is made from a solid forged 4340 steel Billet It is machined then nitride hardened. It can be custom ordered in a standard 3.0L, 2.8L, 2.6L, or 2.4L stroke.
Pistons•
We worked closely with Mahle Motorsport for our pistons on the de stroker kits. These pistons are designed to work with the factory wire spray arc cylinder coating on the S55 or the standard steel sleeve liner of the N55. Extensive track testing data has proven these to be the best option for our high rpm race engines.
Connecting rods•
Our connecting rods are a forged 4340 H beam design and they are shot peened to reduce stress. ARP 2000 rod bolts are standard.
